    Description

A Shirley Temple oddity—a 1930s key holder or caddy with a painted plaster version of the familiar "Stand Up and Cheer" figurine with added flowers and base, all mounted to a wooden house shape with brass hooks and a hanging hole. Very good condition with some wear on the plaster as shown (on the face and shoes); an old chip on the right side of the plaster "base"; a few white spots on the wood at the left side and a few small, brown surface spots. The paint is in good shape with a few scrapes in the right side background. The horizontal line is
    not
a crack—it's two pieces of veneer that were joined and painted. There's a piece of wood veneer on the back as well that's lifting slightly at one corner. No maker marks. This item appears to be commecially made and was probably sold at a souvenir or gift shop. 5 1/4 x 6 3/4". It displays very well and is a unique Shirley collectible. Please see my other listings for more Shirley Temple items from my 40+ year collection.
